Tiger Door / Corrim Door

Fold Door is an authorized distributor of the finest
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) doors and frames
available. Tiger Door has been at the forefront of
research and development of FRP products for over
32 years. These products include FRP non-fire rated
and fire rated door and frame systems, pressure-rated
doors and frames, fixed window systems, louvers,
and lite kits. Tiger Doors are guaranteed not to
warp, delaminate, or corrode for the life of the
product.
Tiger Door does not use balsa wood
cores and they do not glue fiberglass sheets to aluminum
doors like the competition does. The unique construction
of Tiger Door’s standard, non-fire rated FRP
door combines a beautiful, yet tough exterior surface
with an aerospace-inspired honeycomb core construction,
assembled by exclusive press-molded technology.
 The
Tiger Door core starts with a high-modulus, pultruded
FRP tubular backbone. This structural stile and rail
sub-frame provides a large portion of the door’s
tremendous endurance. At the corner joints and hardware
locations of the sub-frame, non-hygroscopic one-piece
blocks-molded from high density foam polyurethane-are
inserted to provide the ultimate in corner strength.
The cavities between the FRP sub-frame are then filled
completely with a phenolic impregnated honeycomb.
The skins of the door begin with
the application of an “in-mold” tough
satin textured color gel coat. Chopped strand glass-fiber
mat forms the connective tissue, followed by a muscular
knitted 3-layer oriented strand glass fiber structural
reinforcement. The multi-directional reinforcing
further enhances the great strength of the door.
Finally, the skins are simultaneously
fused onto both faces and all edges of the door under
heat and pressure until cured – not only to
the FRP sub-frame but to the entire honeycomb core
as well.

Megadoor
 Megadoor
has been assisting with providing doors for large
and unusual requirements since 1971. Megadoor specializes
in doors for automotive manufacturers, shipyards,
aircraft hangers, the mining industry, the process
industry, and any type of manufacturing facility. 
The Megadoor features panels or
curtains of vinyl coated, polyester fabric supported
by aluminum beams. The door is vertically driven
by an electric motor. They do not use springs or
counterweights and require very little maintenance.
These doors are particularly applicable in heavy
